I don´t understand the whole point of shitty drummers...
If you´re recording an underdevelop drummer, no matter which mic you use it will sound bad... That´s a fact. Big chances he/she can´t tune the drum (or even have 2 or 3 snares to choose from)... So, in that case, just use a 57 and keep your 84 in the locker...
