i believe the newer PEQ's have a lot of cool updates/ improvements. one specifically being the upgraded "nico" (Nickle/Iron/Colbalt) transformer.

Nice, thanks for the info. I have been hearing that the PEQ1s are not so stellar. If there are improvements on the PEQ2s, that would be very cool.
I wondering if those eqs are good as the 1073s.
