Time travel is impossible because
time itself does not exist. There is only cause and effect, amongst an eternity with no beginning and no end.
The concept of time is a convenient illusion -- our bodies are inherently designed to
sense the illusion, just as we sense many illusions (color, taste, etc.) -- and it exists only as a sensation.
