Does anyone know of a good plugin to achieve the sound of early seventies reverb? I have read good things about UAD but I'm trying for a pre 1976 sound. The sound of the great Trident recordings of Bowie, Elton, Queen etc. What did they use then anyway? Any suggestions for what plug will help me get this sound much appreciated... I recently bought Altiverb, which sounds amazing and would be great if I was making a Pixar movie or something, but everything images and sounds bigtime digital. Whatever I record with my U67 mic through altiverb sounds like it was rerecorded with a cold modern mic. It just doesn't sound like music to me, since my taste is the sound of classic rock albums, and it doesn't integrate with my other vintage vibe tracks.
