No go. I use an O1V as a front-end in a studio with an iMac + 896 mk1 as a lightbridge, and the preamps and converters in the 01V are really quite poor. I'm thinking of buying a FF800 soon from what I've read/heard (audio samples) on this forum and I can tell you the FF800 will run in circles around an 01V for out and out sound quality.
The 02R v2 uses the same preamps and converters as the 01V I believe.
I personally really think there's no need for a mixer in a DAW-based studio. The FF800 can do far more complicated routing (for monitoring etc...) than most digital mixers, and all a mixer will do is give you an unnecessary intermediate between the preamps and DAW.
Spend the cash elsewhere...
