I still love 'Joshua judges Ruth' by Lyle Lovett, produced by George Massenburg.
It's not a spring chicken (1992), but it *is* an exceptional recording of great songs played by great players - I have 'I've Been To Memphis' on my Masterlink as a reference track, and it never fails to make me marvel at how well this stuff can be done when it's done right - worth it for the three drum/bass/piano hits alone, I reckon.

FWIW, another more recent Masterlink fave is 'Troublemaker' from Weezer's Red album, mastered by DC - certainly gets the blood going in the morning! I'll draw a veil across the disturbing sight of a middle-aged man bellowing 'I'm a troublemaker/never been a faker' while his family rightly cover their ears.
I've just ordered 'Beloved One'.
