I have many Rolands and among them an SH-101. Sure the 101 is cool and all but really my SH-2 beats it hands down on bass and detune sounds.

I can post some examples of what a dry 101 sounds like passed through my Apogee Rosetta if you'd like.

One osc plus sub is a bit limited but it has such an acidic filter and probably the fastest envelopes I've ever heard.

You need an external sequencer or CV/gate-MIDI converter to take full advantage of it!
