I teach FCP and DVD Studio Pro.
Now if I could edit as easily in Pro Tools as I do with FCP, I'd be one happy camper...
About Final Cut being a "dense" program--I describe it as a few feet wide (easy to get the job done) and about a mile deep (with options and ways to do things).
