I only know of anyone that can even be considered high end using DP if they score music or do a lot of commercials and programming. However, the PT8 midi engine isn't so bad. I still don't care for it for Audio, I use Nuendo in my studio, but I have PT8 LE for those that need to bring in sessions. However, I transfer them into Nuendo with a quickness.
