I hear you. So with that said, your dongle number is now stored at Cubase.net and you can interact with people there about the product... right?
Or are you standing on some kind of wacky principal and just refusing to store it? Again, it takes all of 90 seconds... I don't see the big deal. You can still be mad at Steiny and actually let them know on the Cubase 5 forum... once you store the dongle number. Make sense?
You already paid for the right to voice your concerns so... go do that... on the Cubase 5 forum that they read daily. Start a new thread about how you feel annoyed by the dongle registration policy there and see if they respond. I agree - as I did above - that it's not so immediately clear to new forum members who happen to own a dongled product.
