I don't think will is from los feliz. I met him once at the watts boys and girls club, where I volunteered sometimes. the whole group was there for a xmas party, I think. when will spoke (in front of all the kids) he said that this particular club had done a lot for him and that he wanted to give back. he planned to buy them a lot of equipment, but i haven't been back to see if he did or not. anyway, watts is a far cry from los feliz. and fergie is from hacienda heights (off the 60 fwy), which ain't los feliz, either.
but no one is going to call them the voice of the streets. i got nothin' for love for anybody that can pay the bills from music, to say nothing of getting rich doing it. his only mistake was not including me in the group!
