Not sure what's so mysterious about that song. Even a noob can hear 808 kick and snare + 909 clap. Hell even the guy in the songs says: "808"!!
If you can't afford transient designer, just take the kick and apply volume envelope in the front part (to get the click). For more click, apply a pitch envelope as well. Process with compressor. Try different compression thresholds till you find the best "sound".
Or. If you are really lazy, then take the 808 kick, transpose it 2 octaves up, borrow few transients from there and apply them to original 808 kick. You got instant BEP kick.
