Which sub? BX-30? I've never had the opportunity to try them with the sub.
I'm going off of memory, but I believe it was this guy:

Also, to be clear. We were doing a ton of mixing. We'd flick the sub in and out - and it was very helpful to have some bigger bass reference. For real technical answers for these sessions, I'd have to defer to two of my favorite people and engineers at the studio, Jonathan Perl and Paul Kozel.

You can check out mp3's here. Many of the Wired Planet tracks were mixed, and quite a few tracked using these monitors. We did a pseudo mastering job on them - they haven't been officially mastered, yet.

Bottom line, if I had to use the m1's with or without subs, I believe I'd still prefer them to any thing else I've ever worked on.

I can't believe you recognized my sign off, one of the funniest recordings EVER, IMO.
