I actually like the 1970 better!
Without comparing the plugs to the "real thing", I personally have fallen for the smooth sound that I think the 1970 gives me, compared to the 1980.
I use it on the drum buss, snare etc, and also liked it better as a master buss as well.
But that could have something to do with that it fits my type of music better??
I havent really made up my mind regarding the 1980....right now I think it`s to..."harsh"?
