Cedar is GREAT! but very expensive.

Sonic No Noise is really GOOD, but at about $1500 USD, pretty expensive.

Waves Denoisers.... GOOD. fairly expensive.

Waves C4, great -- acts as a DOlby CAT 43 and CAT 430.

Also, Wave Arts Multidynamics is a GREAT C4 replacement. very inexpensive and you can do the same Dolby 43 & 430 tricks with it.

don't forget EQ. tightly Q'd. notch out the nasties. i mix a show now with CRAPPY prod. sound. i use AT LEAST 2 EQ's on each track. Sony Oxford, Massenburg, or, a pretty good shoice, the PT DIGI III EQ -- excepot you can;t get the Q's as tight as with the others.

haven' tried the SONY.

no offense to anyone, but i think dfegad SOUND SOAP SUCKS BIG ARSE!!! haven't found a use for it yet...RAY GUN was better.
