I am about to start working on a DIY Bass trap project and here is what I have thought up so far after reading a lot of these threads.
These are the panels I have thought about making, should these work out good? Not sure of the difference in all the designs..

I was thinking of putting 2(4inchtrap) in each front corner, 1(4inchtrap) in the middle of each back corner, 1(2inchtrap) on either side of me on the sidewalls, 2(2inchtrap) on the front wall behind the speakers. And maybe add more sometime later. Does this sound like an effective way to start this?
The ones on the wall itself would come out off the wall about 2 inches as well.
Im not really sure if I need 2 or 4 inch thickness on the walls.. But i know the corners will all be 4inch. Here is the layout of the room
(as you can see the corner where the main door is isnt a 90 degree corner, so would i need a trap for that?) I plan on moving out in a few months so that awkward corner wont be there at my next place, but for now Ill just have to work around it. Anyways, I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Thanks
