mini rig for recording vocals and acoustic guits out of the studio.

As my studio control room is a little small, and doesn't have any room sound, I'd like to put together a little mobile recording rig for recording vocals and acoustic guitars in the upper floor of my house, where the natural acoustics are really nice.

I need 2 channels only.

Which higher end 2 channel AD/DA would you recommend? 800-1500 $

As a 2 channel preamp I guess the Great River MP-2NV s great..any other suggestion? Have in mind that it will need to perform great with acoutic guitars, too. Up to 1500 $

Also, which fast compressor/or limiter would you recommend to catch higher peaks? Up to 1500$

Besides, aother question: Which modern SDC mic would be the best alternative for a Neumann KM84?
I use a Taylor 815 (jumbo body) ...Anyone wth experience how to record a jumbo Taylor best?

Thanks for you ideas and tips,
Noise.
