There are three different 240 models from Akg that i know .
240 DF 600 Ohm , very low output gain and great for checking the distortion on the final master , very lite in bass but very sensitive .
240 Monitor , also 600 ohm but not that great as DF
240 Studio 55 Ohm , much louder but not precise as DF, almost bass too heavy but great for checking lo end of the mix / master
All of them were new like 90 Euros ....
I have also the 171 ( i think) mk1 and mk2 not a big difference
