Anyone who has experience with both of these units- How much of a perceivable difference in ad & da conversion quality can be heard between these two units with the same converters? Is it night and day, a slight difference, or not much at all?

AND, while on that topic, how much do different clock/converter pairings vary? In other words, will two different clocks have very different effects from each other relatively, with different converters? Will clock "A" be "better" with converter "C" than clock "B" is, and perhaps worse than clock "B" is with converter "D", etc?

Sorry for my digital ignorance, but I don't have ready access to multiple units to a/b them, and I'm looking for the cheapest/easiest path to maximize the performance of my converters (in a tascam sx-1).
