Here's the deal - Im hoping you guys can help. I've taken in so much info over the past couple months that i feel like my head is gonna explod....

My nodes start at 50hz and go up in increments of about 50hz all the way up the band. My room is 11.4 x 13.2 x 7.2.

This is going to be a control room.

The wall I'm facing is an exterior brick wall with single stud arrangement, as is the wall to my right.
The left wall is going to be staggered studs - my live room being on the other side.

The rear wall has a bedroom on the other side, which will be turned into a lounge. I want there to be as small a transmission as possible. The rear wall will have built in seating that is approximately 8 feet wide and 15 inches deep.
This will allow me to build 4 bass traps into the back of the seating. Essentially the back of the 'couch' will be 4 bass traps. From left to right it will be 4" trap, 3" trap, 3" trap , 4" trap. The face of the traps on the couch will make the distance from the front wall to the rear wall 12'4.

The area behind the rear wall that is not part of the bass trap will be filled with insulation. This area has 2 feet between itself and the wall to the lounge. The entire rear control room wall will be double layer 1/2" sheetrock before building the traps.

The rear wall (not part of the traps) will essentially be a double layer of sheetrock, 2' deep worth of insulation, studs for the lounge and then the single layer of sheetrock inside the lounge. This is if you were looking down on the wall between the control and lounge rooms, from inside left to right (control to lounge)

I will also have high absorbers at first reflection points on the left and right walls.

A couple questions...

1. What range of frequencies will the four low/mid traps on the back wall absorb (and how can I research this for myself)?

2. Should i build some triangular shaped slot resonators to fill in the 90 degrees in the rear corners? Or just fill the corners with OC703?
