i want the direct outs to have everything that i put on the channel including effect blending via the fx sends and aux sends. you know?> i get the track sounding just right and then ive got to route everything to the groups and then it sounds a little different... i guess i could record each channel one by one off the master outs but thats a drag on workflow. i suppose though that the effects are being mixed into the signal after the actual channel. so the effects would never be on the channel out. hmm i guess i answered my own question...
