Yes of course you can send effects to record i have tried a lot of experiment and i got some Great result(sound quality is superior just passing your mix through it and you hear the difference ) Ok to send effect to another program like cubase logic e.t.c
you can use a software audio cable(osx jack) or any of your choice or if you audio card has multi input and output its even better.
all you have to do send wire the record send out to any of the audio card outputs mono or stereo out what ever channels you choose to use) into any cubase channel with effects of your choice then route it out of cubase back into record onto the same effects return on the channel
