This is probably the only existing all tube 24 channel German broadcast console in original working condition.
However the sexiest part of the console can't be seen on the picture:
A complete wall of racks filled with legendary classic tube amplifiers:
V76, V74a,V75 and V72 and m10 V86/87
all of them in their original condition and function in the signal chain.
The real beauty of this pic is hidden behind the history of this console.
The pic shows the console in a brand new control room, designed by the IRT ( Institute For Broadcast Technology) Munich.
I had already posted an older pic of the console in the old environment on page 3 of this thread.
The owner, Johannes Brüning was the first Violin Player of the NDR ( North German Broadcast) Symphony Orchestra who could clearly hear the difference when the switch to IC technology and digital recording technology was made. When he retired he bought the complete tube based NDR studio in order to keep it alive and build a private studio for this purpose.
As it is a non commercial private studio, Mr Brüning doesn't have to make any of the typical modern world compromises in order to attrack clients and is able to preserve the historic original mint condition.

Right now Mr. Brüning is building a hall for concerts and live recordings.
Many musicians are already looking forward to record through an all historic V-Series
equipped studio on a Telefunken 24 multitrack.
It must be an amazing, ear flattering experience.
Truely a work of passion without we even nowadays would not know the sound of those historic tube based studios anymore. We could only guess based on information from books and from the sound of single V-series units taken out of the context of the original infrastructure.
