here is my wish list for ZED24:
1) for me would be enough that the upgrade will be 4 full equipped stereo channels, becuase for my purpose I need more inputs, but not more mic preamps.
2) The full quality converters on the master I/O (its quite tricky that R16 has different quality converters on the master compared to the rest of the channels...)
3) 100 mm motorized faders (with the memory effect - when switch off the midi, fader might jump to the previous analog position and vice versa)
4) resolved all problems with FW disconecting (I hope its the history now)
5)
optional meterbridge (to keep the price possibly as low as possible for normal users)
6) full generic remote support for Cubase etc., because setting up the MIDI is quite boring...
7) one button for selecting ALL faders to MIDI control
8) gleamless surface
9) subgroups
10) Wordclock
11) six auxes
12)
optional adat ( to keep the price as low as possible for users who dont use ADAT)
13) all 24 channels in 96kHz
Than this will be dream machine for me!
