i was given a legit Record for testing reasons. I imported 24 tracks of audio into Record, then into Cubase 5, then Pro Tools HD, then Pro tools LE.
I then bounced to a stereo mix, just to hear how they differed.
In order of favorite to least (judged on imaging, dynamic range, headroom etc)
1. Pro Tools HD
2. Cubase 5
3. Record
4. Pro Tools LE
I suggest you all try a test for your self. It was a dramatic difference. Record Is a good program for the $$$. But is NOT, (to me) worth all the hype people make it out to be. Again.. great for the price, though.
