So i said, let's first let it be released and give the new kid on the block the chance as it's their first version. And if its not made for you, than keep using what you love at this moment.
And one thing for sure, we know that it will have it's "niche" of users.
As for me, loooking forward to give it a try for sure

I concur with the past two posters it's an amazing well thought thru singer-songwriter /band/ self-band produced tool for capturing ideas for musician/audio engineers and non-audio engineers alike.
The SSLesque mixer at the output is pretty amazing for the money @ $249.00 you kidding me? Its a steal for what's included with caveat. I just loaded a 16 channel raw analog project recorded live on an MDM and ran it thru the mixer. I'm sutnned! No VSTs no external analog processing and the sound engine output sounded by far better than the same 16 tracks ran thru Reaper 32, n-tracks 32, and Nuendo 32 on a vista laptop.
The showstopper drawback was that the import function needs to be upgraded quickly because I had to import one track at a time with offset which is an apparent faaking nuisance, but the output was worth the hassle ... for now. For any utility for future use, Propellerhead Central needs to permit import of multiple wav files simultaneously for this thing to have any real utility in any environment, and permit export of multiple wav file as well for rapid cross platform sends.
If the designers fail to do this they will lose the pro segment of the market because busy folks will not have the time to import anything other than two wav files at a time for mixdown from another DAW software program defeating the purpose of an entire splendidly designed record, digital mixer, and amazing sound engine reduced to two tracks non? How does it sound? I'm stunned. Amazing for the money LOL.
VST's? I work in mainly analog on a real mixers and real outboard, and it's a breath of fresh air to finally see an affordable software program doing just that ... back to the basics for all you who are spoiled digital brats now who have never worked with analog. Barring spending a big chunk for UAD2 PCIe and then paying for a Harrison console and then an SSL Duende PCIe, this is a great digital mixer for the money. Amazing how they did it. Does it sound like an SSL? Honestly, whogivesafaak. The sound engine is amazing, and the PEQ and dynamics are excellent. Disagree? Ok shoot me huh? Who at the listening end is gonna wonder what you mixed it on. The quality of the recording and mix and master is what they are grooving to. Fix the multi-file import and export and you've got a genuine winner. Kudos Propellerhead. Good work. Two products this past year have caught my attention that rock, this and Presonus Studiolive. If these two companies could marry up, wouldn’t that be amazing for the studiolive to be able to manage the Propellerhead Record mixer digitally from the faders etc and you can have the best of both worlds mixing analog via FW on the studiolive with two liked at 32 channels duplex, and have the benefit of this amazing digital sound engine and digital mixer to be able to mix ITB as well. The world is getting smaller and smarter ….
My 2 cents
