I don't think so -- they seem completely focused on DNA. Which I believe could be a mistake.
People will always need high quality monophonic pitch- and timeshift, especially for vocals. But how often do you need to change a note in guitar chord?
Granted, it's fun, it's entertaining and it is thrilling from a scientific point of view.
But it's also a little pointless if you still have the old artifacts.
