It definitely does sacrifice a tiny bit of tone, however..... I'd rather have a great performance thats in tune. then less dull top end on a pitchy performance.
you dont have to use it on words your not tuning.
just bounce a tuned melodyned track and comp in the words you want fixed into the original track.
