Hmmm. Find a good sized space to rent that sounds good, do some acoustic treatment and soundproofing, and get a top of the line portastudio and some good dynamic mics?
My setup is pretty nice for the money I put into it, but I'm crammed into a small spare bedroom, and I don't have a good place to do anything loud. So I'm just reacting here. I'd love the right kind of space and build for a good one room tracking/mixing room, which would have it's own set of problems, but I'd prefer those problems to my own.
