Have you heard the X81 (that the guy says he is looking at)? I could be wrong, but I don't believe you have. In another thread you imply that you had your first introduction to Vintech. Their 1272 specifically. The X81 sounds very little like the Vintech 1272 that you just listened to. Of course you're entitled to your opinion (we all are right?), but you are making a jab at the integrity of a lot of people's ears. Unless the couple thousand people who are using these are deaf (or fools). I think a lot of gear sucks...but somehow I don't think it's appropriate to slam it everytime somebody mentions it on the forum (ESPECIALLY lumping their whole product line together based on the one black sheep of the line). If you hate Vintech, let me give you a little bit of industry insight. The more you talk poorly about something, the more it sells. It creates controversy...especially with Vintech in particular. You saying that it sounds like ass, probably just sold 10 pieces. Dallas will probably get ten new orders on Monday. Because people aren't going to take your word for it, they are going to want to know for themselves. So if you are going to continue on this path, you'll be unintentionally helping that which you dislike. |
Alright. Alright. Point taken. No I haven't heard the X73 or whatever it's called.
But I have trouble believing that they started out making crap and have now figured out how to do it right. They're still selling the 1272 unit. Right?
For now I'm still considering the possibility that my unit was broken or something.
And by the way. Your Logic may make some sense so .........
I've heard that Kenny Gioia's drum library really sucks ass.
Peace.
