You're probably right James. It will take something seriously groundbreaking. (
not a little faster, ADC, a little better looking, unlimited tracks, a little better sounding, a little cheaper, etc.) something like the difference between ADAT linear, and PT non-linear. Something SERIOUSLY different and ground breaking.
