Any comments on this G5-based DP setup for multitracking/sample-based production?

I've been speccing out a DP4-based system for my studio, and I'd like your comments on this setup.
(I already have DP4, Reason v3, and ReCycle, and I'd be using those on this system.)

Basically, I'm going to be using the system for both producing my own stuff (DJ Shadow-styled 'hiphop' and remixes for others) as well as conventional multitrack production of 'live' bands.

What do you think? Any comments?
(I've left cables out for brevity.)

Questions:
* I've heard some say that a mixerless setup would be a better idea, but I saw a thread on GS (http://www.gearslutz.com/board/showt...ght=motu+01v96) that says that the MOTU summing bus doesn't sound as good as an outboard mixer (ie. the Yamaha) or even PT. What have your experiences been with the DP summing bus?
* I'm considering getting myself a Roland MV-8000, but if I do, I'll only be able to get 8-16 outputs from my DP workstation into the console. Will I still hear the benefits of summing OTB if I send stems into the 01V96 as supposed to individual tracks?

* What have your experiences been with the Yamaha add-on effects?

* How do the pads on the M-Audio Trigger Finger feel versus the MV?

Any comments/recommendations?

Thanks.
