i agree that the arturias i've heard sound kind of same-ish... but that doesn't mean they're not useful synths... i kind of like the 2600v... it sounds absolutely NOTHING like a 2600, but its kind of a warm sounding synth with alot of cool programming via the sequencer.

as for comparing the hardware moog with the software, yeah, you can do theortical stuff like setting the resonance on the highest setting and comparing the two... but, who cares about that? who would do that in a track?

i'm very glad i have a voyager.... but, i don't hate the minimoog v...

if anything, the arturia is a great tutorial on how to program a moog!!! (i wish they'd do that for an andromeda!!!)
