| I hope I'm not stating the obvious here but 1.0.1 definitely (I just checked again to make 100% certain) fixes the latency issue in Logic 8 here so... could you verify that Preferences > Audio > General > Plug-In Delay > Compensation is set to "All", and that the version info at the bottom of the Redline EQ window states "version 1.0.1"?
Also perhaps a rescan from Preferences > Audio Units Manager might make Logic update its latency info--it shd do this automatically but hey...
