record is dogs bollox (= excellent in UK English)

Iv e had Record on the go for about 3 weeks now.It is an awesome package. I grew up using Logic and have learnt Protools in some depth and basics of Cubase, but Record is truly an amazing product. Sure it wont replace Logic PT or Cubase, but the way i see it, if you got a non-Mac you can now do all the things you need without rewiring and the sound is really really good.

It may not be up to hi end pro studio stuff but some on here prefer it to Protools and i can see why. I'm trying to get a project on the go wi laptops teaching young offenders how to record stuff and this will run on machines out of the box. If you already know Reason it's a no-brainer. No need to rewire into Cubase which comes with limited synth stuff from what I've seen unless you buy lots of add-ons.

I also read about some of you wanting VST support and i can understand that, but you can for example put your guitar through any number of fx sends and/or inserts and the combination is really limitless. If it comes out at £250 that is a real bargain too. Whats not to like, as they say?
