Using ableton 7.0 - Ive got a side chain compressor on a pad and a high pass filter being automated on the kick (triggering the side chain). It seems to me that the side chain compression diminishes as the high pass filter sweeps on the kick.

I want to be able to still hear the side chain compressor in full effect on the pad, even when the high pass filter sweep on the kick. Is there a way to achieve this? Do I need a muted kick triggering the side chain?
