| Cool.I ask around.I yeah I have 2 big meter 525's here.I think one needs recapping.the other older one has been gone through and the action/ballistics seem fine.the other one is very different.
really hard to get them to match based on what the meters/knobs are doing.. its all earball.
as far as the vs. the c version,i'm feeling its the older melville opamps combined w/ slighter mellower curves..maybe
but they do play nicer than the new ones
the little devil eq looks interesting.gotta get one in here this week too.
supposedly in the ballpark of a 1081 and the little class a/b broadcast modules from the Neve 5315.i use those on jimmy's little console and they're cool.
they're supposedly in the Neve weight class yet more headroom[higher voltage,transfo i/o,class A,blah,etc]
