At 2:48? or at 2:38 when Flynn hits him the Disc?
The sound at 2:38 was a Kick Drum made stereo by doubling the track and delaying the second track by 5ms. Then running the sum of both through a vocoder chorus chain.
2:48 is several little quick filter sweeps done on some drums, then chopped with a bit of reverb/slight phaser.
