Ludacris last album has a Primo track called MVP. Premo got busy and so did Luda.
He is still relevant but yes he prides himself in his OG roots of sampling and doing the Boom Bap Kick and Snare deals. Its simple yet elegant, like a new Jaguar car with no rims. Just nice and classy with everything you need but not screaming "HEY LOOK AT ME" Like a Tahoe with rims and two tone paint and everything shinny with 5 screens in the headrest. Its just simple and efficient. And there is much more to it when you truly analyze it rather than passing by it.
