Reddish region means you're stretching too far and it might sound bad (artifacts).

Red square is a clip indicator. It means that when stretching the track, the level has gone up and clipped. Best way around this is to gain your track destructively so it's no higher than -3/-4/-5 db then apply elastic audio.

I think the indicators are quite clever and a great idea on Digi's behalf.
