I'd seen that clip above before and am reasonably impressed given the fact that a 121 is the only mic, and it's a dark sounding, smooth, but not the clearest sounding mic. I could record it better, which bodes well for the good tones he's getting. I'm not wanting metal tones from the NT, though and it doesn't seem to be a metal amp anyway.
