Yea, it was definitely more that it wasn't tight down there. It existed, but was just kinda flabby. I think the stock extension cab sucks though. I need to try it through a 4x12 or at least a 2x12 with killer speakers.
I've got a 1x12 here with an Eminence Red Fang that's got so much tight low end bass that I've used it live as a bass cab even.
