I'm trying to get the N12 going on a Vista 64 laptop with no success thus far and wondering if anyone could help. I followed all the install instructions and the driver seems to be working properly, but I'm getting no sound, neither from WDM or from Cubase 5 (64-bit). (N12 IS listed as a remote device in the Cubase device manager). The Cubase ready light on the N12 is not coming on. Sometimes it will flash on for a couple seconds but then quickly go away. Remote control section of the N12 does not work except for occasionally the play button will work.

I've tried both the onboard firewire (an 800 port) and a Belkin F5U505 express card, which is a 400 port. I know the N12 is working because I tried it on an XP system and everything working fine.

Comp is an HP Pavillion dv7 with Core2 Duo 2.8Ghz/4GB RAM/Vista x64. Any thoughts?
