I've used the both the IC velo glide and the lever glide. Didn't like the velo at all. The action was very poor. I don't know if I had a defective one or not, but I cannot recommend it. The lever glide worked very well. Very smooth and responsive. I recommend that one.

I use a DW5500D. It works very well, but it is really heavy. Not great for gigging. I'm thinking of swapping it for the 5500L which is basically a lighter weight version, otherwise the same.
