I have nice outboard. And I know it's been discussed. I want to ask a really dumb question...

If I want to patch an outboard eq and compressor into the Stereo bus during mixdown on the N12, would I take a 1/4 inch cable from aux to one of the two stereo tracks on the n12? I mean physically patch from aux to 9/10 or 11/12?

I am so unfamiliar with how to do this.

I know I can patch in during mixdown for each track using the track insert, but I just want to patch my eq and compressor onto the '2 Bus' (stereo channel)..
Please help a dummy.
