I would agree and though I could be wrong, it might even be possible to go with the cheapest solution possible based on the necessary inputs. I mean, do the converters/A/D really matter if you're ONLY using it for synths? I'm sure in theory there is some kind of loss of quality even from a synth, but i mean, if you can tell the difference from a synth, you are a better man than me!
