It's most humbling.

Being forced to step up your game can/could be one of the best things that's ever happened to you.

Otherwise, just stay where you are and be the biggest thing in your local town
I see your point and I'm aware you are not quoting me but someone else, but no matter where I'm at in the WORLD, if I am making great tracks for a garage band that pays the bills or helping a band go forward in the music world is ok with me, its called BALANCE.......
The guys in LA may be recording record label talent (which from what I see there is NO talent on the scene today that I like) Jonas Brothers ? give me a break !!! The guys in LA are paying out the ass in rent or owning a place not to mention sinful taxes, when ours is pocket change in a way. I'm happy and I hope you are..
