I know what you're feelin' - I go through phases where I see a good deal on a piece and am tempted, but then I step back and look at my current setup and I see that I have exactly what I need. Other than updating computer hw and sw, I haven't purchased anything in the last 3 years and it's quite liberating. I'm still learning new things about the pieces I have - and some of them I've owned for quite a while. It all comes down to making good choices about the pieces you purchase and learning how to get the most out of them.
