Gladiator 2 is a BEAST! If you want to craft a unique synth sound, this is probably the tool for you.
+1 on pretty much all of the Spectrasonics stuff. But the new STEAM engine and all the presets (templates) are just next level.
Also, NI is offloading the Komplete 5 package for $399. Sick deal for the amount of horsepower you can get out of that bundle.
