So I just purchased a new power conditioner for my rack. I figured I should do a shoot out to see the HUGE WORLD OF IMPROVEMENT. Literally didnt notice a difference at all. I cranked my pres and recorded a few seconds worth then plugged my rack into the M8x and did the same. Even when I zoom into the wave form, there isnt a difference between the two recordings.
Am I doing something wrong? Is it my own fault for buying the cheapest power conditioner on the market? Should I be looking for improvements elsewhere?
